Chapter 471: Speculation of the origin of the visualization picture

Wu Yu is a method of sacrificing to the Dragon.

The one most skilled in this sacrificial method is, without a doubt, Wu Yu.

Unfortunately, Li Qi is not a Wu Yu, but as a Invoker, he basically knows all sacrificial methods, as it's his old profession.

"Great Wu Yu. Wu Yu is the name for a drought sacrifice to pray for rain. The sacrificial words 'Great Wu Yu' indicate a great drought. Eight boys and eight girls dance and shout 'Wu Yu', hence it is called 'Wu Yu'." Li Qi muttered the method of Wu Yu. Although he couldn't find boys and girls now, it didn't matter. As long as another Seventh Grade helped, it could be compensated for.

Only novices and uneducated people would rigidly adhere to the original recipe. After all, the purpose of a recipe is to make a good dish. As long as the dish is good and meets the requirements, the recipe can actually be changed.

It's like cooking; if there's no salt, just add more soy sauce, it's no different.

The various requirements of a sacrifice are essentially to pursue certain Qi to form the entire sacrificial cycle.

The requirement for boys and girls is essentially for that Innate Qi. Li Qi himself can make up for this, and the other Qi needed for the sacrifice should also be provided by Jingmo the Monk.

So Li Qi said, "Please assist me, Great Master."

"This is my responsibility, not assistance, but cooperation," said Jingmo the Monk. "Young Master, just give the orders. Although I'm not good at thinking, this Junior Monk is very efficient at doing things."

Li Qi was also not polite and immediately began to issue commands.

In ancient times, there was the Wu Yu sacrifice to pray for nourishing rain for all grains. Its system involved setting up an altar beside the southern suburbs.

However, Li Qi certainly didn't have those conditions here, so he imitated the ancient Dragon sighting and Wu Yu ceremony, choosing a location to set up an altar.

In the month of early summer, when the Azure Dragon constellation appears in the east, one prays for nourishing rain for all grains, hence the Dragon sighting and Wu Yu. Following the suburban altar system, a Wu Yu altar is established to pray to the Heavenly God and all lords. In times of drought, one prays for rain.

The Tang Nation's Wu Yu sacrifice generally took place in the southern suburbs, later the Wu Yu ceremony was performed at the Round Mound. Throughout history, the Great Wu Yu preferred the drought Wu Yu ceremony after early summer, all praying every seven days. Li Qi felt that the Tang system was the best consideration.

Therefore, Li Qi imitated the ancient Great Wu Yu, with one person acting as two rows of dancing children, dressed in black robes, each holding a feathered screen, singing cloud poems.

He imitated the Cloud River style to compose eight chapters of imperial poems, with sincere words and incisive imperial chapters. Dressed in black robes, in eight rows, holding feathered screens, the music stopped at the final offering. The announcer announced, and after the song, they looked towards the burnt offering.

Then, a bird with a clear voice was used as the master of ceremonies. The feathered screens followed the style of the Imperial Dance in the Rites of Zhou. The rituals were the same as the regular Wu Yu in early summer.

Altars were set up for the Heavenly God, the Gods of Grain and Soil, the Ancestral Temple, and the Grand Year God, all with musical chapters, only the altar for the Gods was missing, and the imperial decree required it to be compiled and submitted.

Having made up his mind, Li Qi was not vague and immediately began to perform the entire ceremony.

He wasn't going to be perfunctory and even gathered Wang Dun and the other Dao of Reason members to help.

The Wu Yu sacrifice to the Heavenly God followed the Round Mound, with the Huang Zhong as the palace.

The Di Qi (Earthly Qi) followed the Fang Ze, with the Lin Zhong as the palace.

The music used seven movements: "Praying for Abundance" for welcoming the Gods, "Flowering Abundance" for presenting silk, "Peaceful Abundance" for the first offering, "Prosperous Abundance" for the second offering, "Dignified Abundance" for the final offering, "Harmonious Abundance" for clearing the food, and "Bestowed Abundance" for sending off the Gods.

Therefore, a music department was to be established to set the music for sacrifices, banquets, and the various musical instruments managed by the imperial guard.

Then, a director, assistant director, attendants, waiting officials, offerings officials, supply officials, drummers, and musicians were to be set up, and their categories distinguished by the instruments they managed.

Regarding this, Li Qi wanted the Dao of Reason members to do it, but they certainly couldn't sing. However, they could use players. Directly using players as a substitute, they began to play the seven movements. Li Qi originally wanted to find musicians, but found that players seemed to work too...

It was good enough. Anyway, the effect wasn't much different.

Bells were called bell-keepers, chimes were called chime-keepers, zithers, se, sheng, and xiao were similar. The clear music and dance life would then be adopted, while the feathered flow was slow and disrespectful.

Having determined these, the old horse was placed in the center of the altar.

Then, the sacrifice began.

Welcoming the Gods, presenting jade and silk, presenting the offerings, the first offering, the second offering, the final offering, clearing the food, sending off the Gods, and looking at the burnt offering.

Wu Yu sacrifice: welcoming the Gods peacefully, presenting jade and silk peacefully, presenting the offerings peacefully, the first offering with rain, the second offering with dew, the final offering with moisture, clearing the food with spiritual peace, sending off the Gods with dense clouds, and looking at the burnt offering with heavy rain.

Thus, sending off the Gods, returning to the palace, and looking at the burnt offering were all peaceful.

Next, the altar prayed for rain and Wu Yu, reporting the sacrifice: welcoming the Gods with extended abundance, presenting silk, the first offering with abundant blessings, the second offering with nourishing abundance, the final offering with generous abundance, clearing the food with peaceful abundance, sending off the Gods with bestowed abundance, and looking at the buried offering with vast abundance.

The Heavenly God and Di Qi (Earthly Qi) welcomed the Gods with prayer for abundance, presented silk, the first offering with flowering abundance, the second offering with prosperous abundance, the final offering with dignified abundance, clearing the food with harmonious abundance, and sending off the Gods with bestowed abundance.

Thus, the ceremony was completed.

Of course, dance was also needed as a key part of the sacrifice, which was also something Wu Yu needed to do.

Now that there was no Wu Yu, Li Qi would take his place.

As Li Qi began to dance, the surrounding ritual music began to play.

The Dao of Reason members, including Wang Dun, also began to frantically record everything around them.

A Great Wu Yu sacrificial ceremony personally presided over by a Invoker was a very valuable experience for the Dao of Reason members, which was one of the reasons they were willing to help.

Li Qi began to dance, not a gentle dance, but a very wild dance for a Shaman.

This could also be considered a hallmark movement and image of a Shaman.

On the altar, wearing strange sacrificial robes, then performing a strange dance like a shaman.

Basically, the impression of a Shaman in the eyes of outsiders was like this, dancing like a shaman.

Or, wearing ragged clothes, pondering among a pile of insects, thinking about how to cultivate Gu worms.

At most, add a gloomy face, performing evil spells to curse others in the darkness.

This was probably the image of a Shaman in the eyes of the world.

Li Qi now perfectly fit the image of a Shaman, but he was used to it. The Shamanic Silkworm Artifact was a typical Gu technique, and he was actually quite good at playing with it.

So, at first glance, Li Qi was a normal person, but when he displayed his methods, his Shaman essence could still be clearly seen.

With the shaman-like dance, the power of the sacrifice also began to manifest.

If it were a professionally trained Wu Yu, the dance would be extremely beautiful, but Li Qi couldn't, so his dance appeared very strange. However, these postures were essentially the same, all coordinating different Qi through different postures and exerting different effects with different rhythms.

The only difference was that he didn't dance gracefully, but that wasn't a big deal.

However, the Dao of Reason members next to him recorded everything very seriously, as if they were preparing to record the entire sacrificial process, including Li Qi's movements, so that they could replicate it later.

There was no concept of copyright in the Dao of Reason. Learning from others was commonplace for them. Why did they help others build different Spiritual Artifacts everywhere? Of course, it was to steal.

Of course, the Dao of Reason themselves did not admit that this was stealing. They felt that they just saw it and then learned it. Since you let people see it, you must be letting people learn it.

Finally, the sacrifice was completed, and the old horse also fell into a deep sleep.

Li Qi took a deep breath, stopped his movements, and said earnestly to Jingmo the Monk, "Sleep for fourteen days, symbolizing the seven mansions of the Azure Dragon: Horn, Neck, Root, Room, Heart, Tail, and Winnowing Basket, arranged in a seven-day cycle. After that, the old horse's cultivation method and Dao Orthodoxy foundation will be established. Thank you for your help, Great Master."

"I've said it before, this isn't help. This visualization itself was caused by me. This can be considered my business, Benefactor, please don't mind it," Jingmo the Monk said.

Li Qi nodded casually, stepped off the altar, and looked around.

They certainly couldn't perform these sacrificial rituals on the deck in front of everyone, so this place was actually a secret room on the ship.

After all, this ship was a Fifth Grade Treasure Ship, and there were many secret rooms inside. Wang Dun could easily find a whole bunch.

"This is also my question, Great Master. I haven't asked before, why did you cause this visualization? Let's not talk about where this visualization came from for now, but how did you sense it, and how did you actively cause it?" Li Qi asked.

Jingmo the Monk put his palms together, recited a Buddhist name, and then said, "Benefactor should have heard that this Junior Monk is skilled in divination."

Li Qi nodded. He had certainly heard of it. Wang Dun found him with the help of Jingmo the Monk's divination ability, which was said to be quite strong.

"So, you divined that there was a Buddhist affinity, so you came forward, but unexpectedly triggered some kind of power, imprinting this visualization on him?" Li Qi asked.

"Exactly. I can feel that this is due to Amitabha's Buddhist Qi, but I don't know the specific reason. Actually, this Junior Monk also knows that Amitabha couldn't be so bored. This matter must have nothing to do with Amitabha. It should be done by someone else who obtained Amitabha's Buddhist Qi," Jingmo the Monk said, putting his palms together solemnly.

"You suspect that someone else obtained Amitabha's Buddhist Qi? How many people in this world are qualified to obtain it? Besides him giving it away, who else among the First Grade in this era can obtain it? This deduction is simply absurd." Li Qi shook his head, not believing this speculation at all.

That was Amitabha.

Infinite life, infinite light, infinite Divine Ability, infinite wisdom. Who could grasp a wisp of Buddhist Qi from Amitabha's hand? And then use it to do things Amitabha himself didn't want to do?

Amitabha would know about his own Buddhist Qi. He would know everything that happened.

"It's indeed unlikely, but perhaps Amitabha actively bestowed it upon others, such as other Buddhist Disciples, who received protective Qi personally bestowed by the Buddha. In this situation, it's very possible for someone to possess Buddhist Qi," Jingmo the Monk said.

The mechanical monk's voice was very calm, and that reedy tone seemed to never fluctuate.

"Other Buddhist Disciples? So, a Buddhist Disciple is targeting me? No, I have no grievances with the Buddhist Sect. Besides, there's only one Buddhist Disciple here, isn't there, Great Master Jingmo?" Li Qi looked at Jingmo the Monk.

Speaking of Buddhist Disciples... this mechanical monk in front of him was a genuine Buddhist Disciple.

"It's not me. Moreover, I am not under Amitabha. The one who enlightened this Junior Monk was the Supreme Honored Medicine Master Buddha. In the past, the Honored Buddha made twelve great vows to relieve the suffering of sentient beings, enable them to possess all faculties, and enter liberation. It was through this that I gained 'wisdom roots,' thus breaking free from being a Puppet and gaining wisdom. I also cannot obtain Amitabha's Buddhist Qi," Jingmo the Monk explained.

"It's not you, but it could be other Buddhist Disciples. Are Buddhist Disciples very bored?" Li Qi was a little annoyed.

"It doesn't necessarily have to be a Buddhist Disciple. All Buddhist Disciples have Buddha-nature and would not do such things, just as the Young Master of Shaman God Mountain would certainly not deliberately break the world's balance. It's just, Young Master, is it possible that it's a 'Demon'?" Jingmo the Monk suddenly asked.

This question made Li Qi pause, and then he suddenly took a deep breath.

Yes, what if it's a Demon?

Indeed, there are Demons who can do it, and that guy's attitude towards Li Qi is not ordinary.

It's just...

Something's not right, is it?

It was said that the Buddhist Sect suppressed the Heaven of Others’ Emanations with the Heavens of the Formless Realm, using the Pure Law to suppress the Heavenly Demon. The Heavenly Demon has been popping out every day, causing so many things in a year. Is the Buddhist Sect AFK?

Li Qi didn't believe that a powerful Dao Orthodoxy that could establish itself in the world would AFK and wait for death. Therefore, Li Qi felt that it shouldn't be the Heavenly Demon acting, at least... not the Heavenly Demon himself.

But... is it impossible for the Heavenly Demon?

Li Qi felt that it was very possible that he was no longer facing the Heavenly Demon himself, but the entire Demonic Dao.

As the leader of the Four Demons, the Heavenly Demon definitely had the power to control the entire Demonic Dao. Just a little temptation would probably incite the entire Demonic Dao to attack him.

Does the entire Demonic Dao have the ability to lay out such a scheme in this situation?

Is the situation in the East Sea really only being laid out by the True Dragons?

Upon realizing this, Li Qi didn't hesitate at all. He immediately pulled out his terminal and quickly sent a message.

"Something big has happened. Coordinates: Mount Dushuo. Come quickly."

This was sent to Shen Shuibi.

Li Qi's original plan was to spend a few months in the East Sea fishing for True Dragons, preferably to get people involved, stir up the waters, then sort everything out himself, and then return to Chang'an to study, continue his career, and see if he could pull Mount Luofu back from the brink of death.

He thought at the time that only True Dragons would target him in the world, and other Dao Orthodoxy shouldn't have conflicts with him in the world, as Li Qi was usually quite friendly.

The Heavenly Demon was indeed dangerous, but he had acted too many times in a short period, and the suppression of the Pure Law was no joke.

But now it seemed that things had spiraled out of control. Not only True Dragons were targeting him, but also the Demonic Dao.

The Heavenly Demon had indeed not acted again, but the Heavenly Demon could drive the entire Demonic Dao to his service.

So, Li Qi, as a smart person, didn't hesitate at all and immediately called for backup!

If it were just True Dragons, then, as he said at the beginning, there would be no danger, and Shen Shuibi wouldn't need to come.

But now it was different.

He wasn't going to abandon his original plan, but he certainly wouldn't take risks alone.

Once Shen Shuibi arrived, he could go.

The reason was also very simple: in the world, existences above Fifth Grade were not allowed to fight fiercely. This was a rule, so having a Fifth Grade protecting him meant he was safe in the world.

This was also why the protectors of the Young Master of Shaman God Mountain were all Fifth Grade.

Of course, this didn't include Li Qi. He didn't have a protector. Zhu Fengdan seemed to have forgotten? But according to Yan Ke, it was only because Zhu Fengdan couldn't find a Fifth Grade Junior willing to help him.

Regarding this, Li Qi was noncommittal.

The moment Li Qi sent this message, the Fifth Grade Treasure Ship suddenly erupted in violent tremors!
