Chapter 475: Magic performance

As the other party spoke, Li Qi gradually understood what had happened during the time he had been muddled and unclear-headed.

It turned out that when he had lost his five senses earlier, nine days had already passed silently.

That's right, the battle had actually lasted for nine days; it was just that everyone's five aggregates had been obscured by the Demonic Qi, so they had all become walking corpses.

Li Qi, on the other hand, relied on his past experience with Five Aggregates Devilish Qi, various kinds of knowledge, and Shen Shuibi's protective talisman to escape from this Demonic Qi.

During these nine days, the intensity of the battle had gradually slowed down, and according to estimates, it would take at least another month to completely grind down the Shield of Doctrinal Canon before they could fully conquer it.

Li Qi gratefully touched Shen Shuibi's protective talisman.

Without this item, he would have died a terrible death. It was indeed useful to have some things prepared when going out. His wife's blessing was always reliable at critical moments.

During these nine days, the battle naturally never stopped for a moment.

Through the conversation, Li Qi also learned that the True Dragon Ao Guangxiao and the Demonic Lord Moro Yan were the enemies they were currently facing.

Li Qi also learned the name of this Doctrinal Canon Great Power: Cang Hou, a Fourth Grade Doctrinal Canon.

This surname startled Li Qi. In ancient times, there was a Great Power named Cang Jie, who was the ancestor of the Cang clan. This indicated that none of the people before him had an ordinary background.

They were all second-generation.

Indeed, in a place like the Nine Heavens, how many people can truly rise from the grassroots?

It is almost impossible for an individual to rise based on their own talent. Perhaps only through large organizations like Schools, clans, or Dao Orthodoxy, continuously spanning countless tens of thousands of years of struggle, can one rise step by step.

Even with Li Qi's talent, if he hadn't been fortunate enough to meet the Great Shaman Mi Xin and be taken as his Disciple, he would have been buried in endless drudgery.

The idea of cultivating alone and then reaching a high position simply doesn't exist in a place like the Nine Heavens; it's completely unrealistic.

Your individual effort and struggle will never catch up to a single hair of a great Dao Orthodoxy. The smallest Legacy they give to their Disciples can easily crush the lifelong learning of countless 'Genius' from miniature heaven and earth outside the domain.

Even if your talent is extraordinary, the techniques and cultivation method that you spend countless hours creating, and which you consider 'top-tier,' are meaningless in the eyes of the Disciples of those great Dao Orthodoxy.

Just like Li Qi.

He could easily learn the techniques created by those astonishingly talented Great Power, whose wisdom and experience were top-notch, just by raising his eyes.

What kind of Genius could create techniques comparable to those created by these existences?

The answer is that no Genius can do it. You don't have the vision, the wisdom, or the foundation. Creation, after all, requires Materials as a base.

In other words, this was also Li Qi's reliance, and the reason he dared to stay and participate in the battle.

He was a second-generation Disciple of the Heavenly Demon.

His overall understanding of the Demonic Dao might not surpass this Demonic Lord, but his knowledge of some deeper factors and secrets of the Demonic Dao definitely surpassed this Demonic Lord.

This was a direct Legacy from the Heavenly Demon.

However... Li Qi still felt a bit uneasy in his heart.

Recently, he seemed to be using his Demonic Dao abilities more and more often.

Was this... playing right into the Heavenly Demon's hands?

Was everything within the predictions of these great existences? And what about Amitabha's Buddhist Qi? Li Qi had suspected it was Demonic Dao before, but now it seemed not.

It seemed that, unknowingly, he had once again become involved in some extraordinary major event.

But then again...

When soldiers come, block them; when water comes, cover it with earth.

He couldn't just surrender, could he? Even if the Heavenly Demon personally descended, Li Qi would have to contend with him, let alone just a Demonic Lord.

"Senior, besides this basic information, could you tell me the origins of the True Dragon Ao Guangxiao? Of course, I will also tell you the details of the Demonic Lord, which will definitely be more comprehensive than what you know, Senior."

"You're very confident... Alright, then let's exchange information and try to deduce more origins. I know the True Dragon Ao Guangxiao. He is the 'Dragon King' of this area, commanding all demon dragon and other life forms, including the demon dragon Lord Tianhong, who are his subordinates. We estimate that the True Dragon we intended to assassinate and then dissect is his distant nephew, who recently traveled here."

"Originally, our actions were very clean, and we also used methods to conceal the Heavenly Dao, but for some reason, the matter was still exposed. This indicates that Ao Guangxiao has sources of information we don't know about. This point is worth discussing," Cang Hou said calmly, not at all shying away from their intention to kill the True Dragon and drag him back for dissection.

Such frankness, on the contrary, made Li Qi somewhat hesitant to speak.

How to put it...

Doctrinal Canon, they're really not good people...

Now it was purely a dog-eat-dog situation, and he had been dragged into it.

However... it was likely that he himself was not blameless for this situation. The Demonic Dao behind him must have been orchestrated by someone, and the visualization diagram that appeared on the old horse was definitely not a coincidence.

Hmm...

He couldn't figure it out, but he should still listen carefully.

Next, Li Qi listened carefully to the details of Ao Guangxiao, his擅长 techniques, and his abilities.

Li Qi's previous guess was correct; Ao Guangxiao had indeed swallowed a Heavenly River. Within the Heavenly River, billions of worlds floated, and countless beings lived and thrived within it. It was thousands of light-years long, originating from the Milky Way, circling Ziwei, and was one of the Star Rivers established by the ancient Star Officials.

However, Ao Guangxiao, using the method of refining water Qi, forcibly swallowed this Heavenly River into his belly, transforming it into his most powerful Divine Ability. Even under the suppression of the Heavenly Dao of the Nine Heavens, he could still, with a mere breath, cause Star Rivers to fall to the ground, spreading far and wide, stirring up seas and overturning rivers, with water light reaching the sky, and massive waves. He could pluck the Kun string to startle hidden scales, and with whale scales and goose feet, his brilliance would spread for a million miles.

If he were outside the domain, he could easily destroy a world cluster.

It was precisely because of this destructive power that the Nine Heavens did not allow existences of Fifth Grade and above to fight fiercely; even a Fifth Grade had to restrain his power.

However, they were currently in Hell, and Hell was boundless, so it could withstand such an impact.

After understanding this, Li Qi also began to recount what he knew: "That Demonic Lord, since his name is Moro Yan, 'Moro' means disturbance and obstruction, which indicates that this is not his true name, but a composite name. 'Moro' is his title, and his true name is 'Yan.' This means he changed his name later; if he were a born Demonic Overlord, he wouldn't use such a name."

Clearly, Cang Hou had never heard of such a claim, so he said to Li Qi, "You seem to know a lot about the Demonic Dao?"

"I know a little. I had some fortuitous encounters, so I have some relatively deep insights into the Demonic Dao, but it's not comprehensive, as this Junior has never systematically cultivated it," Li Qi immediately explained.

"Oh... you've obtained some secrets, so you have a slight understanding."

The two were currently connected by a purely spiritual link established through sacrifice, so Cang Hou couldn't see Li Qi nodding, but Li Qi still habitually did so.

"Then I won't ask too many questions. Just tell me directly; I'll listen. But you should know, if what you say is something I already know, then it means you've made the wrong decision, and you'll have to follow my instructions: use your Spiritual Artifact to escape to the Yang world and report to the Dao of Reason," Cang Hou said calmly.

"Naturally. Then let's begin. However... it's hard to explain clearly with words. Please, Senior, observe my Dharma demonstration," Li Qi said.

After speaking, he simply sat cross-legged on the ground and, within the connection formed by the sacrifice, began to demonstrate his Dharma.

At the same time, he also displayed the wisp of Heavenly Demon’s Dao Resonance that he had hidden but never used—the wisp that had been forcibly instilled by the Heavenly Demon back then.

Previously, he had wanted to hand this wisp of Heavenly Demon’s Dao Resonance to the Great Shaman Mi Xin, but the Great Shaman told him to handle it himself, saying that he was already a Seventh Grade and should learn to deal with these matters on his own.

Since then, Li Qi had kept this wisp of Dao Resonance sealed and deeply hidden, fearing something might happen.

However, he never expected that it would ultimately be used in such a place.

Perhaps this was the will of Heaven.

Of course... Li Qi was referring to the Heavenly Demon's will.

To Li Qi, the will of these great figures was the will of Heaven, even more terrifying than the will of Heaven itself.

He still had the courage to defy Heaven.

But defying these terrifying existences, his heart would still feel empty.

However, at this moment, he couldn't afford to think too much. Outside was Hell, and there were two hostile Fourth Grade, and even higher-level existences plotting against him. At such a time, all his cards had to be played.

As Li Qi demonstrated his Dharma, various strange phenomena began to appear around him.

Heaven showed monstrous signs, the earth revealed disaster talismans, nightmares and demons were terrified, everything was restless, countless Demonic Overlord emerged, each displaying expressions of shame, terror, and sorrow, with strange mists and sorrowful clouds, and demonic winds filled with resentment.

The outer Heaven and Earth that Li Qi had previously built with the help of Doctrinal Canon also began to collapse. Within it, the three lights were unclear, the Five Elements were distorted, the sun eclipsed the stars, and even the Yin and Yang Qi itself began to collapse.

When Heaven loses Yin and Yang, its Dao is disrupted; when Earth loses Yin and Yang, its resources are disrupted; when humans lose Yin and Yang, their lineage is cut off; when all beings lose Yin and Yang, their Dao is not governed; when the Five Elements and four seasons lose Yin and Yang, it becomes a disaster.

Immediately, the surrounding phenomena began to evolve: demons born from Heaven, monsters spewing from the Earth, plagues affecting humans, frequently manifesting as diseases, leading to widespread death and slaughter. The deceased often died for no crime, their souls and spirits trapped by injustice, with nowhere to appeal, and rampant lust and epidemics arising from this.

In winter, there was extreme cold, killing birds and beasts, harming fish and turtles. The leaves of bamboo and cypress near the city were withered and damaged, accompanied by frost, hail, and heavy thunder. The sun was dim, Heaven and Earth were murky, the seasonal Qi was reversed, haze and fog obscured the sun, evil Qi rode the sun, and frequent disasters of shattering and surging water occurred. The stars lost their proper paths, waxing and waning, traversing the Ghost Cart, invading Yin and encroaching on Yang, even more severe than the celestial phenomena of Hell!

Harmony was corrupted, Yin and Yang conflicted; winds were like scalding water, clouds like fire; seasons were distorted, droughts and Yin depletion occurred; rivers dried, valleys emptied, stones flowed, mountains scorched; there were no wisps of clouds in the sky, but horizontal gales swept the wilderness; in midsummer, it should be hot but sometimes cool, and plants withered without frost; anxious farmers stopped plowing their fields, and leisurely boatmen ceased rowing at riverbanks; cloud roots piled up in mountains but were split in the middle, and rain fell but then dispersed; there were disasters of Great Fire, Great Fire, and Great Wind; venomous snakes, rats, and wolves all harbored killing intent, attacking in droves; all beings developed sores, boils, and various carbuncles on their bodies, with upward Qi and vomiting, their skin and flesh rotting, their hearts suffocated and confused, diarrhea and hiccups, painful urination, aching eyes and ears, full backs and swollen bellies, madness and emaciation, madness and dryness, all kinds of diseases arose!

All beings harmed each other, mutually hacking and stabbing, dismembering and cutting, their bodies shattered on the ground, pus and blood flowing out, skin and flesh charred, suffering bitter and sour pain, myriad poisons arriving simultaneously, scurrying in panic, each distrusting the other.

Immeasurable demonic thoughts arose from their hearts, and all beings suddenly manifested various afflictions, Karmic Obstruction, and retributions.

There was endless greed, hatred, ignorance, anger, entanglement, vexation, jealousy, stinginess, deceit, flattery, shamelessness and impudence, great arrogance, self-arrogance, false arrogance, pride, laxity and conceit, resentment and strife, illicit livelihood and flattery, feigning strange appearances, seeking and desiring excessively, lacking reverence, not following teachings, associating with evil friends, insatiable greed for profit, difficult to untangle bonds, evil desires, evil greed, bodily views, existence views, and non-existence views, frequent yawning and drowsiness, discomfort, craving for food and drink, their minds dull and confused, their minds dwelling on strange thoughts, unwholesome contemplation, much evil in body and speech, fond of much speaking, dull senses, speaking much falsehood, constantly covered by thoughts of desire, hatred, and harm.

The disease of unceasing, gravely evil sins symbolized infinite demonic thoughts, with each demonic thoughts giving rise to a corresponding Demonic Overlord.

Countless Demonic Overlord led all beings to harm each other under the influence of demonic thoughts, their bodies devoured by various insects, bound by the prison of foul greed, as repulsive as dead dogs.

These many strange phenomena caused Cang Hou, who was beside him, to nearly lose his Dao Heart.

Even though he was a Fourth Grade, he had never seen such strange phenomena.

What kind of sin was this, what kind of blasphemy?!

Li Qi actively demonstrated his Dharma with the Heavenly Demon’s Dao Resonance, activating the Demonic Qi within it, presenting a scene of the apocalypse! It was a terrifying apocalypse that even a Fourth Grade had never witnessed.

This was the Dao Resonance of the Heavenly Demon.

Innumerable hundreds of thousands of great sins, the shadow of the world, an indescribable extra-legal principle, a sign of the demise of all things, a symbol of the Dharma-ending age, the shadow beneath the Buddha's light, the Buddha's nemesis.

Enough to cause all Heavens to fall, the surging and roaring Karmic Fire of the Heavenly Demon!

The essence of madness and destruction resided high above, and chilling demonic sounds echoed all around.

The enemy of all Heavens, the enemy of all beings, the supreme Devil that leads everything to extinction!

Indeed, these phenomena only appeared in the outer Heaven and Earth around Li Qi and his human body's miniature heaven and earth, on a very small scale.

But no matter how small the scale, the magnitude would not change.

No matter how beautiful or attractive the Heavenly Demon's posture appeared, it could not conceal its true nature.

This was the true 'Devil.'

But Li Qi's Dharma demonstration did not end.

After displaying the Dao Resonance of the Heavenly Demon, he immediately began to delve deeper into the Demonic Dao.

Using the Heavenly Demon's ability to modify reality, combined with his previous understanding of the Five Aggregates Demonic Blood, the deeper laws concerning the Five Aggregates Devil lineage of the Demonic Dao began to emerge.

Even if there are myriad forms, they do not go beyond the five aggregates.

A single true spiritual nature, clear as the great void; the five aggregates physical body, born like foam, dying like a dream.

The scenery is vast, withering the forest of Karma.

The heart fire is blazing, burning the seeds of Bodhi.

The five aggregates and six colors are endless.

Cang Hou, a Fourth Grade of Doctrinal Canon, actually began to comprehend the Dao while facing the Seventh Grade Junior before him!

But at that very moment, the Demonic Lord Moro Yan seemed to sense something. He suddenly said, "Attack! This person seems to be analyzing my Dao lineage; he has someone behind him!"
