Chapter 552: Invading the world (8K words long chapter)

Li Shiwei shook her head, feeling dizzy.

The deceleration made her even more nauseous.

The reason was simple: when the Heavenly Dao limit was suppressed, the entire ship's space and time would distort accordingly.

Admittedly, the suppression of the Great Dao in Outer Void was very weak, unlike the Heavenly Dao which was so firm it was almost unchangeable, so these Spiritual Artifacts could indeed raise or lower the Heavenly Dao limit, but the resulting effects would not change.

Lowering the Heavenly Dao limit of the speed would cause the flying boat's speed, originally at 1.5 times the Heavenly Dao limit, to be forcibly reduced. This reduction was manifested as a doubled consumption of energy.

Because, the closer you get to the Heavenly Dao limit, the more energy you need to accelerate. For example, accelerating to 50% of the Heavenly Dao limit might require 100 units of energy, but accelerating to 90% of the Heavenly Dao limit might require 100,000 units of energy.

An increase of even a tiny bit of speed would cause the required energy to increase exponentially.

And truly surpassing the Heavenly Dao limit theoretically required infinite energy.

The same was true now. The flying boat flew at 1.5 times the Heavenly Dao limit because the Heavenly Dao limit around the flying boat had been altered by the spell.

Therefore, by changing the surroundings of the flying boat to a speed of only 10% of the Heavenly Dao limit, the energy required to maintain this speed would visibly and sharply increase.

As a result, the energy carried by the flying boat at its current speed would be insufficient to support its flight at that speed, causing it to rapidly decelerate until it stopped.

The specific manifestation of this process was that the flying boat's mass began to increase sharply, then returned to its normal state, reflecting the mutual conversion of energy and mass, time and space.

This process directly made Li Shiwei vomit.

She didn't know why... she was really sensitive to spatiotemporal structures. Once this situation occurred, she couldn't stand it...

Stone sighed, "Boss, you're really too sensitive to changes in space and time. I think you should find some time to undergo special training, otherwise, what will you do when you reach the Sixth Grade? In Sixth Grade battles, raising and lowering the Heavenly Dao limit are already standard methods. What will you do if you start vomiting during a fight?"

"We'll see about that later... Hand me the bucket..." Li Shiwei was too lazy to consider those things now; she just wanted to vomit.

Stone didn't say much, just floated up, condensed spiritual energy with a spell, and tossed the bucket over.

After a long while, Li Shiwei finally recovered, then looked outside.

At this coordinate, there was indeed a world floating.

Li Shiwei carefully observed the special world mentioned by the leader.

This was not a typical spherical world, but a peculiar one with world barriers, and within these world barriers, there were other world barriers.

In other words, this world had miniature heaven and earths inside, nested one within another, with its interior divided into different worlds.

This was similar to a tiny Void Beyond, but even smaller.

"Use the flying boat's scanning Formation to see the specific attributes of this world. How much space is inside? How many worlds is it divided into?" Li Shiwei asked Stone.

One could feel that the atmosphere around Stone clearly changed for a moment.

If it were an Ore life form, one would clearly perceive that Stone had just 'sighed' and 'rolled his eyes'.

Stone said helplessly, "Boss, did you forget that we rented a single-person controlled small flying boat? Is a scanning Formation something one person can handle? Have you been in world-class giant ships for so long that you've forgotten?"

The Heavenly Dao controlled countless worlds in Outer Void, and naturally developed a unique exploration technology that didn't require people to enter for on-site exploration. Instead, it only required setting up a large Formation covering the world from the outside, which could scan the internal situation of the world, including its size, its internal energy level, the number of life Auras, and what kind of Qi dominated the world.

However, the consumption and equipment needed for a Formation covering an entire world were also obvious...

"Uh... I was dizzy from vomiting. Do I have to go in? Breaking through the world barrier would make the natives hostile, wouldn't it?" Li Shiwei suddenly realized.

"Boss, don't tell me you haven't actually considered how to enter the world?" Stone's voice trembled slightly.

"Uh... I do have a way to break through the world barrier, but I'm afraid of being antagonized by the natives. I heard that these multi-layered nested worlds tend to be more chaotic internally." Li Shiwei shook her head...

She felt as if her brain wasn't working as well after getting motion sickness on the flying boat due to spatiotemporal acceleration.

Why didn't she feel this way on world-class giant ships? It shouldn't be the case; world-class giant ships actually distort space and time, and even due to their massive size, their very existence naturally creates spatial distortion, but she didn't feel anything...

Li Shiwei pressed her fingers to her temples and rubbed them, easing her dizziness: "Forget it, I won't think about those things. Let's make some preparations. If I take more time, I should be able to reduce the disturbance when breaking through the world barrier."

"Okay, I'll go prepare the Formation Plate for you, Boss," Stone said.

Soon, the Formation Plate was ready, and Li Shiwei directly entered the boundless Void Realm.

For Mortals, Outer Void was incredibly dangerous; falling into it basically meant death.

Outer Void had no direct threats; its greatest danger lay in the surrounding environment.

It was incredibly cold here, because the essence of temperature was the movement of matter; the faster matter moved, the greater its internal energy, and thus the higher the temperature.

In the Void Realm of Outer Void, there was nothing, no matter existed, so naturally there could be no Concept of 'internal energy'. Therefore, the temperature in Outer Void tended towards the lowest possible value. Even if a person carried their own temperature, it would dissipate into the surroundings due to diffusion, with heat being absorbed by the environment.

Thus, it would get colder and colder until you and the surrounding environment reached thermal equilibrium.

Reaching thermal equilibrium with the environment... that meant a temperature approaching the lowest possible value, and this level of low temperature was enough to claim the lives of many people.

Therefore, one needed to use spells to heat the surrounding environment and maintain one's body temperature.

Li Shiwei affixed several True Fire Talismans to her body, achieving this and avoiding the first danger.

Then, one needed to be careful of the movement of the world itself.

In Outer Void, all things were in motion. Worlds did not remain stationary but were dragged along with world clusters, and world clusters were perturbed by other world clusters, constantly moving at extremely high speeds through the Void Realm.

Countless worlds, countless perturbations, and the relative motion among them was incredibly complex, which was why things like 'star maps' were needed as guides; star maps were generally in motion.

In this situation, the coordinates of a world were not fixed but relative coordinates calculated based on landmark areas of surrounding worlds. These coordinates were constantly changing and required continuous adjustment and calculation. Then, the flying boat would continuously shuttle between various worlds to confirm its position and ultimately find the desired world.

Traveling in Outer Void was a very complex matter.

This was the second danger of Outer Void: individuals falling into the Void Realm could easily lose their way.

Once lost, it basically meant certain death. Even if one carried enough supplies for a lifetime, one might never find anything else in that lifetime.

Of course, those above the Seventh Grade did not need to worry, as the Seventh Grade could already survive in Outer Void and, with luck, might encounter another world after tens of thousands of years.

However, there was also a solution: since all motion was relative, one could use the world's own gravity around it to let the world 'drag oneself along' and maintain relative stillness with the world itself. This way, one wouldn't have to worry about being flung too far by a fast-moving world and never finding another living soul again.

"Gravitational contact has been established. Tie your safety rope securely. The flying boat is flying towards the gravitational equilibrium point with the world."

The gravitational equilibrium point was where the flying boat would be dragged by the world's gravity but would not be sucked into the world and fall into it.

Staying here meant not having to worry about the flying boat being flung too far from the world; as long as Li Shiwei's safety rope was tied to the flying boat, she would not fall into Outer Void.

The third danger was the air problem in Outer Void.

As a typical humanoid creature, Li Shiwei needed to breathe. Breathing corresponded to the 'wind' within the Human Body miniature heaven and earth; it was the method of circulation. If she couldn't breathe, the circulation of Qi within her body would become sluggish, and her cultivation would gradually halt. Therefore, ordinary cultivators could not survive in Outer Void; only those of the Seventh Grade could.

Different Dao Orthodoxy had different ways of handling this. For example, Li Qi's Shaman Dao, upon reaching the Seventh Grade, could generate things from nothing within the body and no longer required external replenishment.

Li Shiwei practiced Dao Orthodoxy, cultivating the cultivation method of Mount Luofu. If she reached the Seventh Grade, her Human Body miniature heaven and earth would self-circulate, self-isolate, and not exchange anything with the outside world until she became an Immaculate Body, completely isolated from the outside, achieving the 'Solitary Self'.

Unfortunately, she couldn't do that now.

However, the solution was simple: bring enough supplies. By putting a concentrated Qi bead into her mouth, a continuous stream of Qi would surge into her body for replenishment, enough for ten hours. Li Shiwei carried six hundred such Qi beads in her mustard seed pouch.

With that, preparations were almost complete.

Then, she leaped into the Void Realm.

To be honest, this feeling was truly a bit terrifying.

How to put it...

It was like wearing a diving suit and entering a pitch-black, deep, dark ocean.

The surroundings were incredibly cold. The faint heat emitted by the True Fire Talismans was like tiny flames in a strong wind, capable of being extinguished at any moment.

The Qi bead in her mouth was constantly dissolving, turning into fresh air, maintaining the Qi circulation within her body, but this also made it difficult for her to open her mouth, as she was very worried about it falling out, and her tongue was not flexible.

Moreover, what was most uncomfortable was... when she left the flying boat and floated in the Void Realm, she could clearly feel that the surrounding worlds seemed to be moving away from her.

The flying boat quickly became a small dot, and the distant world was also just a small dot.

As for other places... there weren't even small dots.

In the entire, endless darkness of the world, only these two small dots remained. If it weren't for the safety rope, this sense of oppression would probably drive a person mad.

Li Shiwei took two deep breaths, gripped the safety rope tightly, and used her spell to fly towards the world.

Now she and the world were in relative stillness. Flying towards the world at this moment would allow her to successfully reach the world barrier.

The surroundings were completely silent, without any sound. This silence made her heartbeat seem exceptionally clear.

Li Shiwei gazed dazedly at the surrounding darkness and the two small dots beside her.

She had been in Outer Void for over a decade...

This was still her first time personally venturing into Outer Void.

Profound, terrifying, and even dizzying.

How did those Seniors who decided to step into Outer Void back then muster the courage to rush out into such darkness?

Those pioneering Seniors were all of the Seventh Grade! They rushed out with dry rations, floating in Outer Void for tens of thousands of years, like headless flies searching for new worlds. What were they thinking in their hearts at that time?

What did they feel in their hearts?

Li Shiwei vaguely, subtly, seemed to feel a certain stirring.

But before she could ponder it further, the small dot in front of her also rapidly magnified.

Then, a spherical world with a multi-layered nested structure appeared before Li Shiwei's eyes.

From the outside, one could see the nesting within. The internal world seemed to be divided into seven different regions, and these different regions displayed different colors.

Normally, this indicated that the world had different internal regional divisions, and the natives within these worlds would believe they belonged to different worlds and would wage wars, engaging in 'plane wars' and such conflicts.

But in reality, from the perspective of the Heavenly Dao, they were all the same, merely different nested layers of a single world.

However, thinking of this, Li Shiwei's eyes widened. She suddenly realized something.

If the interior of a world could be composed of such layered nesting, and these seven different inner-plane worlds had very obvious commonalities, meaning: "They all came from the same world."

Then, what about the 'Universe' that the Heavenly Dao resided in?

Were the countless worlds in the Universe where the Heavenly Dao resided all within the same structure? It should be, right?

In other words—

All worlds, all civilizations, must inherently possess commonalities!

Li Shiwei immediately let out a long sigh of relief. Even though this action was quite dangerous in Outer Void, she couldn't help but do it, because... this meant that her 'direction was correct'.

Being in the correct direction was too important.

Many times, people aren't afraid of hardship or exhaustion, only afraid of not being able to distinguish between 'I haven't worked hard enough' and 'I've been working in the wrong direction'.

As long as the direction is right, no matter how hard or tiring it is, one is moving towards the correct place, rather than working hard only to find it futile.

Since that's the case, let's do it!

Li Shiwei began to accelerate, then lightly landed on the world barrier.

Then, she chanted: "With the heart as the general, with Qi as the god, gather it into a pill, and form it into shape..."

As she spoke, a Divine General suddenly rose up behind her!

This Divine General was not the end. Li Shiwei immediately scattered another stack of Talismans, and sternly shouted: "I summon the generals and marshals, descend quickly, come to the altar and obey my command!"

The Talismans fluttered in mid-air, combining according to a specific Formation, and then each emitted a brilliant light, projecting distant power to this place.

This is the Divine General Summoning Incantation. Li Shiwei used the power of Talismans to command the Divine Generals to appear. These were genuine Heavenly God General Dharma Bodies, not fake in the slightest.

Thus, she could use them to form the ‘Heaven’ part.

Then, she used herself as the guide to form the ‘Human’ part.

And so, Heaven and Human united, triggering the killing intent of Heaven and Human.

The ‘Yinfu Scripture’ states: “When Heaven unleashes killing intent, stars shift and constellations change; when Earth unleashes killing intent, Dragons and flood dragons rise from the land; when Humans unleash killing intent, Heaven and Earth invert; when Heaven and Human unite to unleash, all transformations are set.”

“When Heaven and Human unite to unleash, all transformations are set.” This was the method Li Shiwei intended to use. She wanted to use the killing intent of Heaven and Human to disrupt the Heavenly Dao of this world. With the Heavenly Dao in Chaos, the world barrier would naturally open up a loophole, allowing for easy entry.

However, just as the ‘drawback’ mentioned earlier, doing so would cause the Heavenly Dao to become chaotic. The more sensitive local Mortals, such as prophets or shamans, would directly perceive the rift in the Heavenly Dao.

At such a time, they would feel that their world had been torn open, and from the dark Void Realm—‘Outer Realm Demon’—had descended upon this world.

Of course, it doesn't necessarily have to be the term ‘Outer Realm Demon,’ but the general idea is roughly the same.

The killing intent of Heaven refers to the subtle movement of Qi. When still and unmoving, life and death merge; when active, it treats all things as straw dogs. Hence, it is called Heavenly Killing, which is the killing intent of the Heavenly timing.

The Divine Generals summoned by Li Shiwei roared in unison, and the oppressive sensation from the Heavenly Gods descended! Heavenly God's punishment was like a mountain of rice and a mountain of noodles, a natural disaster descending!

An anomaly appeared around the Divine Generals: water and fire surged, plagues were rampant, all living beings suffered greatly, and heavenly calamities spread. An infinite world of war emerged, where children were unfilial to their parents, siblings turned against each other, prefectures and counties became desolate, and many people died in defeat.

As the Heavenly timing brought ruin, killing intent corroded all people, men and women, throughout the world. Old enemies and grievances pursued each other, and great vengeful spirits came seeking living beings, consuming their blood and essence, disturbing the living, causing urgent illnesses and afflictions, and attracting evil spirits!

Li Shiwei's understanding of ‘Heaven's killing intent’ was quite different from that of the Sima in Guangyang back then. Clearly, as an Eighth-Grade, she had not yet truly grasped ‘Heavenly Killing,’ but was merely using the wrath of the Heavenly Gods as a hook for Heavenly Killing.

But it was already enough.

She bit her finger, and under the Heavenly Killing, she triggered Human Killing!

When Human unleashes killing intent, all things in Heaven and Earth follow suit. Hence, it is said that when Heaven and Human unite to unleash, all transformations are set. At the moment of their combined unleashing, they seize the harmonious fortune of Heaven and Earth, and the wonders of Yin and Yang's creation!

Those whose Qi cannot align and move with Heaven and Earth are unable to be their own Sovereigns, allowing themselves to be driven by the five thieves, thus becoming estranged from the Heavenly Dao and inconsistent with the Heavenly operation. Now it is said that Heaven is established to stabilize Humans.

The killing intent is unleashed here, the three powers are stolen here, the three essentials return here, filling the four limbs, pervading the six directions, and blocking Heaven and Earth, clearly and distinctly. Li Shiwei used the killing intent of Humans to drive the killing intent of Heaven, causing the Heavenly Dao within the world barrier below to fall into Chaos!

This Formation lasted for an hour.

Within that hour, in this unknown world, many of its top powerhouses suddenly felt a prickling sensation on their backs.

The Emperor of the Empire opened his majestic eyes, vaguely sensing that his national fortune was beginning to decline.

The reclusive sage awoke from his meditation, looking out worriedly, sensing the arrival of a chaotic era of strife.

The invincible God of War raised his head from above the military camp, roaring at the sky, leaving the surrounding soldiers bewildered.

The Beast King hidden in the forest cried out, spewing flames, and letting out a joyful laugh.

A blacksmith in a small, remote village suddenly slowed his rhythm of hammering, causing a piece of iron to be ruined, which could only be melted down and redone. The customer cursed, and he quickly apologized with a forced smile.

After the customer left, his face turned mournful, and then he pulled out a rusted longsword from a water basin, grinding it little by little.

In the sky, a Divine Statue stood, and the clouds began to change, constantly generating storms. These powerful thunderclouds moved swiftly and flashed with various colors, condensing into thick dark clouds that obscured the sun, making daytime as dark as night, while the flashing storms were like constellations.

Below, a sacrifice was being held. Some rituals, considered quite primitive in Shaman Dao, resounded. The prayers grew thicker, Divine maidens danced, priests praised loudly, and mighty generals dragged slaves one by one to the altar to be beheaded. The blood sacrifice and the prayers of all living beings converged into the center of the Divine Statue.

Finally, the dark clouds were torn apart! A golden light descended! It shone directly upon the Divine Statue.

The priests were astonished to find that although such sacrifices were held annually in the past, the Divine Statue had never reacted, only showing signs of thunder.

But today—the Divine Statue they worshipped came alive.

In this world, within a red ocean, a sharp Demonic Sword was plunged into a small island in the ocean, connecting with the Qi of the entire ocean, converging into one.

However, suddenly, a terrifying killing intent surged from the calm sea. In an instant, the area around this island became silent. Insects dared not chirp, birds dared not sing, beasts dared not roar, and fish dared not swim.

All things were suppressed by a cruel Aura! Their expressions were dazed, as if they saw blood springs gushing from the ground, bubbling up blood, instantly transforming the surroundings into a vast ocean of blood, with corpses floating on the blood sea!

If anyone were here, they would probably hear the wailing of gods and ghosts, wouldn't they?

Instances and anomalies unfolded across various parts of this special world.

The powerhouses of this world all sensed the disorder of the ‘Heavenly Dao’.

Or rather, the disorder of the world's general trend.

However, Li Shiwei, the instigator of all this, felt nothing of it. She continued to meticulously unfold the Formation, causing the local Heavenly Dao to fall into Chaos. The world barrier was already close to opening.

A communication spell arrived from the ship.

Stone spoke through the ship's spell: “Boss, we’re ready here.”

Upon receiving this news, Li Shiwei did not reply. Instead, she spread her hands, expanding the range of the spell!

Divine lamps appeared in Heaven, illuminating everywhere.

Immortal bells and chimes, self-ringing in the air.

The world barrier gradually dissolved under this Heavenly music.

And Stone, on his end, also manipulated the flying boat, aiming it towards this location.

The world barrier could not be directly melted through. If it were, something would go wrong, and the world would be directly exposed to the Void Realm. All matter within it would be annihilated and corroded in the Void Realm.

The world barrier is a protective measure for a world. Without this protection, the endless cold and emptiness of Outer Void would destroy all worlds, leveling all matter evenly across the vastness of Outer Void.

Given the boundless expanse of Outer Void, even if all worlds were shattered, Outer Void would likely not change at all, only its average matter density increasing by a tiny, almost negligible amount.

Only the world of All-Heaven can remain unaffected in the boundless Void Realm; only All-Heaven has no world barrier.

Li Shiwei didn't know how All-Heaven prevented its matter from dissipating, but she assumed it must have been the work of those Great Powers.

There was just one point that didn't make sense…

Before the Great Powers were born, when they were not yet Great Powers in ancient times, how did All-Heaven prevent its matter from being swallowed by the Void Realm?

Never mind, she would probably know in the future.

Getting back to the point, the world barrier cannot be destroyed, otherwise it would indirectly destroy the entire world. Although the world would not be immediately affected, after tens of thousands of years of gradual erosion by the Void Realm and the slow dissipation of matter, the world would turn into nothingness.

However, by using this method, the world barrier can be weakened, opening a fragile cavity.

Then, let the flying boat crash in!

On Li Shiwei's side, she extended a hand, and countless Talismans began to flash in a specific pattern, arranged like a dot matrix.

This was a signal, indicating that she was almost ready.

As the signal was sent out.

The distant flying boat suddenly accelerated to 50% of the Heavenly Dao's limit!

Then, it directly crashed into the world barrier!

When accelerated to 0.5% of the Heavenly Dao's limit, the surrounding space-time would distort, time would slow down, and space would stretch. This was a manifestation of the Great Dao.

This distortion, appearing on the world barrier, could distort the world barrier, achieving the result of passing through!

Li Shiwei was pulled back onto the ship by a safety rope.

This was the purpose of the safety rope.

Then, the safety rope disintegrated into energy, as it was originally composed of energy.

Li Shiwei returned to the ship, tucking her head in to protect her body.

Then—

Within this world, in one of its ‘planes’.

Suddenly… the sky collapsed.

Above the firmament, a shockwave abruptly descended.

Light crashed down, mountains collapsed, and the earth violently sank. Suddenly, a huge pit formed!

Below was a wasteland. In an instant, the ground of the wasteland sank directly, and groundwater surged out madly, being squeezed and ejected, forming countless water mists and ‘lakes’ floating in mid-air.

Judging from the amount of water, calling them lakes was truly no problem at all.

However, this was only the first wave of power.

Then the second shockwave descended, another deafening boom, and the earth sank again, another nearly ten feet deep, the pit expanding to almost press the entire wasteland into the ground.

Boom, boom—

With two successive loud bangs, the earth sank again and again, and the wasteland actually turned into a basin.

Not a single piece of rubble flew up from the ground. Nor did any smoke or dust rise, all were pressed firmly to the ground by her power, unable to fly!

One could see how immense the power descending from the firmament was!

However, at this moment, the dome of the sky, a large amount of distortion turned into ripples, and the entire firmament began to tremble.

The Heavenly Dao was in Chaos. The originally calm world seemed to return to Chaos in an instant, without Heaven and Earth, without any signs of life, only a faint buzzing sound.

Just then, countless anomalies suddenly appeared at the opening in the sky.

Those anomalies were composed of the prayers and worship of billions upon billions of living beings, and the fantasies from their thoughts and imaginations.

Within these acts of worship, countless Concept manifestations began to appear: volcanoes, continents, oceans, stars, as if a miniature heaven and earth was being created.

After the creation, from beneath the earth, mountains rumbled forth, and volcanoes erupted!

Immediately, the light sank, and the volcanoes were leveled again, yet countless shattered Qi continued to erupt, and from within, mountains flew out like rain, as if it were the end of the world.

Stars emerged, then the sun and moon, followed by the great seas, continents, and finally, an entire vast world, a boundless realm, surged forth from a state of Chaos, gradually blocking the entire shockwave.

The incomparable light that had descended from beyond the firmament was immediately obstructed, blocked by the anomalies, unable to advance even half an inch.

Ultimately, the power surging down from beyond Heaven was completely worn away by these anomalies, yet the anomalies showed no reduction whatsoever, seemingly unaffected in the slightest. It was likely that even another impact from beyond Heaven would not be able to break through these anomalies!

After all, these anomalies were the Heavenly Dao itself!

And that impact from beyond Heaven itself was not intended to continue impacting the anomalies.

Li Shiwei just wanted to enter, and had no intention of starting a war with the Heavenly Dao of this world.

So, after the impact stopped, she shook her head, suppressing the urge to vomit caused by the space-time distortion, and said to Stone: “Stone… go! Ugh!!”

“Hey, you threw up on me! Never mind, let’s go first.” Stone, covered in vomit, had no choice but to quickly operate the flying boat, and with a whoosh, it left the impact site.

If they waited any longer, the local powerhouses would probably come looking for them.

The moment they entered, Stone realized that this world was a Seventh-Grade world.

Li Shiwei couldn't defeat the local powerhouses of this world!

It was better to rely on the flying boat and quickly escape!

As for the flying boat itself, because it was a Seventh-Grade Spiritual Artifact, it was only slightly damaged after impacting the Heavenly Dao, and was completely repairable.

Everything that just happened was actually the flying boat forcibly Transmigrating the world barrier, and then being instinctively intercepted by the local Heavenly Dao. The aftermath generated during their collision was the scene that just occurred.

Stone manipulated the flying boat, quietly leaving the area. Not long after he departed, about a day later, several people suddenly appeared at this location.

A sage holding a staff, a village man with a longsword on his back, a mighty warrior clad in splendid armor, a Divine Statue carved from stone, and a strange beast resembling a Dragon.

They arrived at this place almost simultaneously.

“Something came from outside the world?” the strange beast spoke first.

“Just like when that cold-faced recluse left, has the cold-faced recluse returned?” the village man asked.

“Doesn’t look like it,” the warrior shook his head.

The Divine Statue remained silent, only staring at the area that had been smashed into a basin by the shockwave, seemingly analyzing something.

Only the sage looked up worriedly at the sky, and said with a troubled expression: “You say… what exactly is beyond this sky? Is this world… truly only seven layers?”

“If it’s more than seven layers, then where is the eighth layer?”
